RPA Concepts and Benefits
What is RPA?
It is robotic process automation, which is called RPA by its name in English "Robotic Process Automation".
Imagine a person working with a computer, managing documents and applications, transcribing some data to forms, concentrating information in systems, generating reports, sending messages.
Now imagine that same job is executed by a robot on a computer, on a server, or in the cloud. Not a mechanical and electronic piece, but a software that interacts with much more speed and without errors with your CRM, ERP, 8xcel, apps; a resource capable of handling 24/7 the usual processes of any company:
- Bank reconciliations, payment orders.
- Administrative monitoring, calculation and payment of taxes.
- High and low personnel, calculation of payroll and withholdings.
- Follow-up of orders and generation of commercial reports.
- Inventory management, purchases and logistics coordination.
- Customer service and coordination of after-sales service.
Due to its wide applicability, we can find successful examples of process automation implementation in any industry: Services, manufacturing, telco, retail, tourism, banking, insurance... and benefits can be measured in all of them, such as:
- Increased effectiveness and installed capacity.
- Improvements in agility, efficiency and profitability.
- Reduction of costs and process times.
- Zero learning curve and zero human error.
